1.  The 2023-2024 Elders Election Results – The newly elected Elders are Kendra Lai and Horn Lam, please pray for the new team of Elders as they come together to serve the church.

2. Pastoral News

o  Pr. Marcus is away from office from Oct 25-31. Please contact Pr. Joe or Elder Ivy for anything urgent.

o  Pr. Marcus and Pr. Arthur will be away from Nov 7-10 for the District Staff Retreat. For anything urgent, please contact Elder Ivy.

3. Worship Night – Invitations to you all to a worship night on this coming Saturday, Nov 5 at 7:30pm at church, the theme for the night is "Yesterday, Today, and Forever". There will be time for worship, sharing and prayer during the event. Please contact Edwin Lam or Ivy Yau for any questions.

4. Youth Sunday School is starting next Sunday, Nov 6, at 11am! Grade 7 and up are invited :) Can’t wait to see you there!

5. Please note that starting next Sunday the English Service will no longer be live streamed and online attendance will no longer be counted. We encourage all members to attend and receive the communion in person.

6. Atesto - Atesto Passage is happening on Saturday, Nov 19 at 7pm at Michael J Fox Theatre this year! If you’re new to this ministry, it’s a ministry that provides a platform for Christians to tell their testimony using creative means, such as dance, spoken poetry and visual arts. Tickets will be on sale starting Nov 1 and there'll also be a pre-show open gallery between 5:30-7pm. This is our very last Atesto as we wrap up Atesto as a ministry, so hope to see you all there! 1.  Welcome - A hearty welcome to our guest speaker Ms. Esther Leung-Kong! Thank you, Ms. Esther Leung-Kong, for sharing God's Words with us today!

2. The 2023-2024 Elders Election – The finalized Elder candidates are Kendra Lai and Horn Lam, and a special members meeting will be held in the English Sanctuary today, Oct 23 at 12:15pm to elect the Elders.  Would parents please pick up your kids from Sunday School before the election begins.

English Announcements - Oct 16, 2022

1.       Welcome - A hearty welcome to our guest speaker Rev. Alfred Chui! Thank you, Rev. Alfred Chui, for sharing God's Word with us today!

2.      Please note that today is Global Care Sunday. All General Fund offerings collected from Oct 11 to today will be donated to five global relief organizations. Please give generously above your regular tithes to help those who are less fortunate.

1.     Today is the deadline for members to nominate Elders for 2023-2024. All nominees will be announced next Sunday, and a special members meeting will be held in the English Sanctuary on Oct 23 at 12:15pm to elect the additional Elder.

2.    The church office – will be closed on Tuesday, Oct 11 in lieu of Thanksgiving Day.
