English Announcements - Oct 16, 2022

1.       Welcome - A hearty welcome to our guest speaker Rev. Alfred Chui! Thank you, Rev. Alfred Chui, for sharing God's Word with us today!

2.      Please note that today is Global Care Sunday. All General Fund offerings collected from Oct 11 to today will be donated to five global relief organizations. Please give generously above your regular tithes to help those who are less fortunate.

3.      The 2023-2024 Elders Election – The finalized Elder candidates are Kendra Lai and Horn Lam, and a special members meeting will be held in the English Sanctuary on next Sunday, Oct 23 at 12:15pm to elect the Elders.

4.     Pastoral News – Pastor Arthur will be away from office from Oct 18-21 for a short-term mission trip to Powell River. Please pray for the local ongoing ministry, as well as the safety and health of the team during their travel.

5.      The Family Fellowship will be meeting at church today, Oct 16, from 11am to noon. Please contact Joyce for more details.

6.      Worship Night – Invitations to you all to a worship night on Sat, Nov 5 at 7:30pm at church, the theme for the night is "Yesterday, Today, and Forever". There will be time for worship, sharing and prayer during the event. Please contact Edwin Lam or Ivy Yau for any questions.
