English Announcements - September 10, 2023

1.     Join us for a Traditional Mooncake Workshop on Saturday, Sept 23, from 9:30am to 1pm in our church basement. There are a maximum of 15 spots available which we will give priorities to newcomers. If you have any further questions you can also check with Ps Arthur or Ivy Yau.

2.    Installation Service for New Pastors: Ps Andy and Ps Michelle will be officially installed on Sept 24, during the English Service (9:30am). Reception will be held that day at 12:30pm. Please save the date.

3.    Exciting News! Introducing our Brand New Youth Group for Grades 6-9! Join us as we kick off on Friday, Sept 22, at the church from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Get ready for monthly meetups filled with fun, learning, and camaraderie. Have kids or friends in this age group? Extend the invitation and be part of this amazing journey. 4.   Newbern Academy will hold its celebration lunch and meeting on Sept 10 at 12:30-3:00pm.

5.    Newbern Safe Ministry Webinar: To promote a safe environment for worship, witness, and work free from sexual misconduct, we are pleased to present an educational webinar. Date & Time: Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 3-5 pm. Speaker: Elke Carlson, Director of Safe Ministry, The Alliance Canada. Cantonese interpretation will be provided, look forward to seeing you all there.
