Announcements - May 22, 2022

1.       Children Sports Camp - Plans are under way for our children sports camp from July 25-29. We are in touch with a number of churches to broaden our reach with this event. Please pray for the planning and stay tuned for more details in the next couple of months.

2.      Summer Camp 2022 will be held in-person at Summit Pacific College on July 15-17. This year’s theme is “Creation and the Good News of Jesus Christ,” featuring Rev. Dr. Jonathan R. Wilson as our main speaker. The camp fee is $160 for youths and adults, and $140 for children from age 3-10. The registration deadline is June 19. The registration form has been posted on WhatsApp. Please watch for it and register early!

Highlights from the Elder Board meeting in May

a.    The church will maintain the restrictions of stage 4 through June, except we will allow asymptomatic people to attend meetings 5 days after the first day of testing positive, provided they test negative before attending, and allow asymptomatic people to attend meetings even if they have close contact with COVID positive people in the last 5 days, provided they test negative before attending.

b.    This year’s year-end thanksgiving sharing meeting will move from Sunday afternoon, Dec 25 to Saturday evening, Dec 30, without love feast (Cantonese only event).

c.    The church will hold a BBQ event in place of the Carnival on July 9, 2022.
