In-Person Service

Sunday’s session will be delivered during Newbern’s in-person Sunday Service, and online through our Facebook page. Please remember to register below; only registered individuals will be allowed to attend Sunday Service.

 Discussion Questions

1. To what extent have you experienced reconciliation in your own life?

   • How much of it lines up with what the Bible describes as reconciliation?

2. What do you think about what Romans 1 says in that God allowed us to “do whatever shameful things [our] hearts desired”?

3. Ps. Joe mentions acts of forgiveness, renewal and recreation of relationships in order to achieve reconciliation. How has God done this for us?

   • What is the ultimate goal of God’s act of reconciliation?

4. How can you practically apply Jesus’ commands of loving your neighbours in your journey towards reconciliation with people we are not associated with?

5. What have you learned about reconciliation that you need to reflect more upon?

   • How can you begin shaping your reflections into action?

Prayer Time

• Pray for those whose faith have been negatively affected by the harmful actions of people who are supposed to represent God and for our ability to reach them with Christ’s love

• Pray for each other to be strengthened by God’s greatness in order to have courage to be ministers of reconciliation

• Pray for churches to seek God’s will in living out his mission
