January EB meeting highlights:

a.    The EB is prayerfully considering when the church will end Stage 5 of our pandemic reopening plan and move to focus on communicable disease prevention instead.

b.   As a part of working towards reconciliation with our indigenous neighbours, the EB has adopted the use of a land acknowledgement statement on our website and other printed/written materials, as follows, “We acknowledge with humble respect that we are located on the traditional unceded territory of the Coast Salish, Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh First Nations, which is our common home in virtue of the gracious gift of God, our Creator.”

c.    The EB decided to elect or re-elect 3 Elders this year for the 2024-2025 term, and will direct the new Nominating Committee to nominate 3 eligible candidates.
