March 16th, 2020

Due to some misunderstanding of our announcement posted on March 14 and the CityNews report on March 15, there are rumors that our church has confirmed cases of COVID-19. We want to state emphatically that there have been no confirmed cases in our church so far.

The following information is noteworthy:

1. March 7: The church members concerned had contact with the person who later tested positive.

2. March 8: The last date the church members concerned attended church.

3. March 10: The church members concerned started to have flu symptoms.

4. March 14: The church members concerned learned that the person they had contacted had tested positive that day, and immediately self-isolated and informed the church.

Although the person who was tested positive had not been to our church, and the church has no confirmed cases now, anyone who attended our church on March 8, regardless of their congregation or age, should be extra vigilant and minimize contact with others.
